Derivative documentation:
https://github.com/lukaizj/car-mod-saas/blob/main/public/models/ATTRIBUTION.md
Derivative changes: Meshopt compression, WebP/512px textures, four hidden cabin/engine
meshes and three unused textures removed. No geometry simplification.
Local rendering changes: normalized scale, silver body finish without racing livery,
adapted glass, wheel and trim materials; placement and lighting.

## Mercedes-AMG GT

Runtime asset: mercedes-amg-gt-detail.glb (1,725,519 triangles).
Local changes: Meshopt compression/deduplication/quantization, original textures kept;
no geometry simplification; normalized scale, graphite body, neutral trim/lights/glass.
The earlier simplified mercedes-amg-gt-web.glb is retained but no longer loaded:
its reduced topology damaged the grille badge and windshield edge in close-up.

Local rendering changes: graphite/silver/bronze body materials, dark interior and glass,
hidden License Plate and InteriorSteeringEmblem meshes (Khronos/3D Commerce marks),
normalized scale and placement in the showroom. The downloaded GLB is unmodified.
The render is a demonstration concept, not a real vehicle listing or an endorsement.

## Offline cinematic derivative (2026-09-21)

The current landing page uses pre-rendered stills and camera videos based on the
BMW, Mercedes-AMG and Porsche models credited above. Blender scene authoring:
`scripts/render_cinematic.py`. Derivative changes include repaired split normals,
adjusted paint/glass/metal materials, a procedural limestone showroom, architectural
lighting, camera animation and mobile crops. Model authors and CC BY 4.0 attribution
remain applicable to these rendered derivatives. These are illustrative renders,
not photographs of vehicles currently offered for sale.

The original WebGL assets remain available as source material but are not loaded
by the cinematic landing page. The following HDRI credit relates to that earlier
renderer; the offline scene uses authored area lights rather than this HDRI.

image-based lighting only; the photographed environment is not shown as the scene background.
